Remediation by enhanced natural attenuation; an environment-friendly remediation approach

The uncontrolled use of chemicals, urban wastes, nuclear resources, mining, petrochemicals and disposal sewage sludge only a few anthropogenic activities that have contributed to the rapid industrialization severe heavy metal contamination soils waterways. Both inorganic organic pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, petroleum hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic can impact composition functionality soils. Soils plants are affected by pollution, thus, pose dire threat food security. This directly renders soil unuseful for agricultural purposes, destroys beneficial microbes in soil, reduces matter content, causes imbalance nutrients, affects plant growth interaction between microbes, subsequently affecting crop productivity. In addition, environmental pollutants affect human health, leading different illnesses headaches, allergies, coughs, depression, chest pain, nausea, diabetes, liver problems, cancers, eye so on. Remediation (physical, chemical or biological) is therefore necessary reduce impacts these environment. Bioremediations involve using natural products from plants, on, detoxify environment make it useful productive again.
